Let’s salute our Heroes

I swear by God this sacred oath:
That I shall render unconditional respect and love to India
Our motherland
And that I shall at all times be ready, as a brave soldier, to give my life for this oath.

It is not about Wars..It is about their warriors and about 35,000 warriors who have laid down their lives for this oath.
The distance being far away from your home & family is not easy.
To deserve our freedom, we need to respect our soldiers and their families who
together took part in war for our motherland.

For most of us, when we hear about Martyrs, we only see the numbers created by the various wars & incursions fought by the Indian Armed Forces. But for those who survived the war, they will see the faces, remember their brothers & sisters and feel the pain that these numbers created. For families who lost a loved one, the anguish will be individual and solitary. We, the rest, should be haunted by these numbers, because they were our friends, father, husbands, wives, sons and daughters … at least fellow Citizens! Most importantly, they were people who gave their today for our tomorrow. We often remember soldiers in times of wars and crisis, to forget them soon thereafter. Let us not allow ourselves to do that. That is why Justice For Rights Foundation was formed, to remember, and to pay homage to the fallen soldiers of war.

OUR MISSION

Isn’t it unfortunate , in our country, we have not been able to provide due recognition to soldiers in uniform, particularly those who lay down their lives without a second thought. The only Memorials are those that are erected and maintained by individual units of the Armed Forces. This is extremely unfortunate and a travesty of the sacrifices made by the men and women in uniform. Justice For Rights Foundation aims at bringing out a change in the view the thinking of citizens about the martyrs their families, by creating a memorable event in honour of all those valiant souls who not only put their lives in danger, willingly and happily, in the defence of the country, but have made the supreme sacrifice. Hopefully, through this event and with the support of a billion plus Indians, we will accomplish our mission of making a difference not only in the lives of the bereaved families of our Martyred heroes but also in the lives of those who have been permanently disabled in the line of duty.

Many such marathon might have tasked earlier but JAN GAN RUN is a special edition Marathon, instituted in commemoration of our Disabled Brave-hearts & Martyrs who have made the supreme sacrifice for our country. It might be not first marathon of its kind where Citizens of India will participate along with members of the various Armed Forces and Para-military forces. We are sure, this will be a spectacular & prodigious experience where our purpose and passion will unite and together while running & philanthropic communities connect for a common cause.

How Did it all Start

The food of thought about this very idea of the organisation was brought into reality when Satyam Singh met with our Former President Pranab Mukherjee, Add. D.G. BSF P.K Mishra and Former Chief Justice Promod Kohli and expressed his concern for martyrs families (specially paramilitary), right after Sukma Attack, where many of our soilders lost their lives. Shree Pranab Mukherjee, Shree P.K Mishra and Justice Pramod Kohli was touched by Satyam Singh’s concerns and suggested that being citizen of India, we should try and take measures to help their families, overcome their difficulties instead of relying on government all the time. The outcome of all the discussion is JAN GAN RUN, a thought by Mr. Satyam Singh (National President, JUSTICE FOR RIGHTS FOUNDATION), to make people aware about the sacrifices laid down by our men in uniform and at the same time to help their families in all possible way, who along with time are forgotten by the country at large. Shree Pranab Mukherjee, Shree P.K Mishra and Justice Pramod Kohli are supporting this noble cause. Satyam Singh inspired by him, persisted on the idea. In the due course of time he met with like minded individuals who believed in the thought and got together under the aegis of JUSTICE FOR RIGHTS FOUNDATION to bring this noble cause to reality.
